I wanted to make some more cards for the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Challenge that Amanda (YT: Live, Love, & Create!) is hosting in support of her friend. I made a couple more CAS cards like I created yesterday, but made them in a pink color scheme, but I wanted to create a really special card that I thought her friend might like to keep.

I used a heavy weight white Bazzill textured white card stock as the base. Then layered a dry embossed lighter weight white card stock. Then I created a couple of frames, using the larger 2 Spellbinder’s Labels 24 dies, which I “wove” together to create a kind of star or flower shape. I secured those with foam adhesive because I wanted to create a little depth/shadow play and backed it with a piece of scrap pink damask foiled patterned paper that I had left over from an altered box project I made last week.

To add a little more elegance and carry the pink patterned paper color further on the card, I added some Michaels pearlescent pale pink flat back pearls at the points of the frames, large on the outside points and small on the inside points.

For the focal point, of the card, I used a large angel wings art-i-cake silver charm. I dangled it from some silver chain, which I hung from a small hole I punched in the top inside point of the frame. TIP: When hanging a charm from paper, remember to reinforce the area where the hole is going to be; I backed this area on my paper frame with 3 additional small pieces of paper on the back side. To add a little softness and hide the hole-dangle workings, I also used a little scrap of lace to made a pretty bow.

The following is a video share of this card:
