I have been on a mission to use up more scraps in my scrap box and using things that I have been hoarding, so for this card, I finished up using this graphic purple, green and teal striped and polka dot paper and finally cut into some square paper doilies.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The image is from The Greeting Farm OA Lovey Dovey set and with her long wavy hair she was super fun to color up with the following Copic colors:
\nHair: E21, 25 and 29
\nSkin: E01, E11, BV01, and R20
\nDress and Shoes: V12, 15, and 17 with white dots added onto the ruffled areas with a white Gelly Roll pen
\nRed hearts: R29 with a coating of clear Wink of Stella<\/p>\n

For the card base, I simply matted the patterned paper with a purple card stock and matted the image that I die cut out with the second largest rectangle from the MFT Die-Namics Stitched Rectangle STAX die set. \u00a0I cut up one square paper doily to fit around the rectangle and then I used the corner and edges from\u00a0another square paper doily to frame the stamped sentiment. \u00a0The left over square doily was cut to decorate the inside of the card at an angle.<\/p>\n

As finishing touches, I also used some green and purple flat back pearl stickers to highlight the strong diagonal of the paper while also linking it, via the\u00a0pearls, to the\u00a0feminine\u00a0doilies. It is tricky to mix styles sometimes, but I enjoyed mixing the modern striped paper with the more delicate\u00a0paper doilies and the cutsie image.<\/p>\n
