I was so excited to find this letter holder at Tuesday Morning with a little nick that allowed me to get an additional 35% off, under $10! I love the black leatherette exterior and the graphic interior. I had some foam core left over from another project so I used that to create divided areas so that I could store all of my Distress Markers and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in color families and in easy reach of my craft desk.

The biggest impediment to my getting more use out of my 60 piece Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers is the tiny font and difficult-to-see true colors (you’re supposed to store them horizontally or brush nib side up but the color sample is on the bottom). So I finally bit the bullet and spent a day to label all of my markers using return address labels. Office Depot labels (Item: 940963) are equivalent to 3M labels 3200-Q and 3100-P or Avery labels 8195 or 5195. I tried to use the labels pdf offered for free by the incredibly generous Sandy Allnock, but I couldn’t get the label names to print fully on each label so I ended up organizing the colors in families that made sense to me and typing in all of the names again. It was a bit time consuming, but once I did it, I found it to be super easy and a little zen. LOL If you’d like my version, please email me at kristina@craftypaws.us and I’d be happy to email it to you.

The following is a quick share of my labeling and organization:
